As President & CEO of ET Capital Partners, Erik Torgerson is the compassionate and tenacious force that helps commercial partners effectively market their projects. Erik’s passion is fighting for what is right and what is just to make a positive impact on the projects that help shape communities.  

After navigating the mortgage industry at places like InterFirst/Abn Amro Mortgage Group and Guaranteed Rate, Erik pioneered ET Capital Partners to offer commercial partners the expertise needed to market their projects. 

As a lifelong resident of the Des Moines Metro, Erik is dedicated to giving back to his community through support of organizations like Iowa Homeless Youth Center (IHYC-YSS). IHYC-YSS works to eliminate homelessness among children, youth, and young families in Central Iowa through advocacy. Erik graduated from Drake University and supports Theta Chi Fraternity as an alumnus. In his free time, you’ll find him on the links, playing some pickleball, or traveling with his wife – all of which allows him to do his absolute favorite thing, meet new people!

ET Capital Partners aims to provide qualified private equity participants with collaboration opportunities. They specialize in assisting commercial developers with marketing their projects and have successfully helped various partners secure necessary capital over the years.
