The Greater Des Moines Partnership and its Affiliate Chambers invite you to the annual Opening Night Legislative Reception, welcoming the 91st Iowa General Assembly to the 2025 Legislative Session. Meet Partnership Investors, Members, Iowa Legislators and enjoy hors d'oeuvres presented by local restaurants and vendors from the Regional Affiliate communities.

State HIstorical Building
Parking is available in the parking garage at the Northwest corner of E. Grand and Pennsylvania Ave. Alternatively, there is metered street parking available as well.
You can access the State Historical Building through either entrance on Locust or Grand Ave.
Pricing
There is no cost for Iowa Legislators and Staffers
$25 for Partnership Investors and Affiliate Members
$50 for non-Members

In the event you are unable to attend the reception for any reason, please let us know 48 hours prior to the event, or send us the name of another who can attend in your place. Reception fees are not refundable if cancellation is given within 48 hours of the event.
